William Burgess M.V.B. M.R.C.V.S.
Position: Partner
History: Born Co. Carlow qualified from U.C.D 1978. Worked in Northern Ireland, England and Wexford in mixed veterinary practice. Moved to Drogheda in1987. Founder member of Westgate Veterinary Hospital.
Special interest: Large Animal Medicine.
Simon Rath M.V.B. M.R.C.V.S.
Position: Partner
History: From Co. Wexford qualified from U.C.D 1985. Worked in England and Wexford in (Small animal practice) and Saudi Arabia (Dairy Health). He moved to Drogheda in1996.
Special Interest: Ultrasonography and Dairy Health/ reproduction.
John Russell M.V.B. M.R.C.V.S.
Position: PartnerÂ
History: From Tullyallen Drogheda qualified from U.C.D 1984. Worked in U.C.D (house surgeon), Cork, Castlebar (mixed veterinary practice) and England (small animal specialist clinic).
Special Interest: Small animal medicine/surgery and dermatology.
Jasone Elorza Spillane LDA Vet
History: Born in Bilbao, Spain. Qualified from Zaragoza, Spain 1990. Worked in several small animal practices including PDSA in Middlesboro, Leeds, Manchester and Dublin. She also worked in UCD teaching vet students Anaesthesiology. Joined Westgate Veterinary Hospital in 1998.
Special Interest: Feline medicine and exotic pets.
Paul Lawlor M.V.B.
History: Born in Brownstown Co. Meath and qualified from UCD in 2007. Worked in Dunboyne in a mixed Veterinary practice. Joined Westgate Veterinary Hospital in December 2009.
Special Interest: Small animal Diagnostics and Dairy Health.
Craig Ritche M.V.B.
History: Craig Ritchie is originally from Co. Down. He qualified from UCD in 2007. Worked in Armagh and Athlone in mixed practice. He joined Westgate in February 2010.
Special Interest:Large Animal Medicine, Animal Diagnostics.
