Grooming is an important part of your pets health. It is important to your pets comfort to remove dirt and dead hair to prevent itching and poor coat condition. Grooming also stimulates the blood supply to the skin leading to a happier healthier pet.

Alison, the groomer, has qualified from an intense advanced grooming course in the Dublin School of Grooming (DSG) and while she grooms all breeds she specialises in breed standard cuts for West Highland Terriers, Scottish Terriers and Schnauzers. As the grooming parlour is attached to the veterinary hospital sedation is available for dogs that are stressed by the procedure and also anaesthetic for cats when necessary with a nurse at hand to monitor the animal throughout the procedure. Alison has been here at Head to Tail for 10 years now and has vast experience in grooming many different breeds and has an expert gentle hand with the animals while being groomed.
